We LOVE this simple yet healthy cacao and almond smoothie by nutritionist Renee Leonard-Stainton. It promotes energy so it’s a great alternative to a sugary after school snack, especially if you have active boys like mine!
Ingredients
Please use certified organic wherever possible.
1 tbspn of Cacao Powder
1 tspn of Chia Seeds
1 Frozen Banana
2 Medjool Dates
1 tbspn of Almond Butter
1.5c Unsweetened Vanilla Almond
Method:
Blend until smooth and serve.
