Are you convinced that 5G must be safe? Have you even thought about it?
I mean surely it must be okay, the government or governments around the world wouldn’t allow for national schemes to roll out if they weren’t safe, would they?
While it would be fair to assume that 5G technology has been tested for risks, by, oh I dunno, SOMEONE, this is not the case, and at the risk of sounding like a cynic if you’re not alarmed about 5G radiation dangers, you should be…
Blanket statements of “there’s nothing to worry about” wreak of the tobacco industry playbook – which as you may recall, had a pattern of dismissing good scientific research as “junk science.” We’ve seen the same habit adapted for use in many other industries that turned out to have something other than our best interests at heart, like lead, asbestos, Round Up and the pharmaceutical industry. Just Google Vioxx and you’ll see the blatant dismissal of documented side-effects.
There is no compelling or thorough data on the safety of 5G. Already live in three countries, 5G is the first global electromagnetic radiation test on human beings in the history of Planet Earth.
The difference between 4G and 5G in terms of gigahertz, the unit of alternating current (AC) or electromagnetic (EM) waves that affect the transmission speeds of devices, is significant. 5G technology promises radio millimetre bands in the 30 to 300 GHz range, while 4G tops out at around 6GHz. When applied to video latency, this translates to speeds up to 60 to 120 times faster.
Before 2G, 3G, and 4G, radio frequencies were benign. We never worried whether or not our drive-time radio shows would fry our brains. Once the concept of wireless “G” technology was initiated, we began exposing the global public to frequencies akin to microwaves at 1 billion cycles per second. Humans, animals and the environment have all been at risk for years. While 4G was bad enough, 5G takes the game to a whole new level.
5G (or 5th Generation) refers to the latest advancement in wireless systems. 5G promises to bring larger channels, higher speeds, larger packets of data, exponential responsiveness, and the ability to connect a host of devices from a single location. To begin with, 5G networks won’t all work the same. Some will be slow, and some of these networks will be super-fast, but with limited coverage. Eventually, they will form a global grid, unlike anything the Earth has seen.
While 4G’s wavelengths travel along the surface of the skin, 5G’s millimetre waves are more insidious. When 5G wavelengths are emitted, our skin will automatically absorb them, which will naturally cause the skin to rise in temperature.
Consider the EMF dangers produced by our cell / mobile phones, wireless networks, cell and broadcast towers, power lines, fluorescent lights, even the electrical systems that power our appliances, TVs, computers, and bedside alarm clocks—all those technological devices that make our lives easier. We are affected 24/7 by an unprecedented number of frequencies and wavelengths. By some estimates, we’re exposed daily to as much as 100 million times more EMF radiation than our grandparents were. It flows around us, in us, and interferes with the body’s fundamental electric forces of life, including the communication between our cells that tells them how to grow, develop, divide, and even when to die.
What Are EMFs?
No, not the 1990s band. EMF stands for electromagnetic field. Electromagnetic fields…it may sound like a bunch of mumbo-jumbo, but they are VERY real.
Electromagnetic fields are comprised of electric and magnetic fields that travel together in wave form, and are not visible to the eye. According to the National Institute of Environmental Sciences, there are 2 types of EMFs:
High Frequency EMF Radiation, like UV light, X-rays, Gamma Rays
Low Frequency EMF Radiation, like WiFi, cell / mobile phones, computers
For the past 25 years, the industry has claimed that non-ionizing radiation is harmless and that the only radiation worth worrying about is ionizing radiation. Dr Michael Pall, who is uniquely placed as a researcher with a bachelors degree in physics from Johns Hopkins and a Ph.D. in biochemistry and genetics from Caltech, unequivocally proves that this claim is false. We will discuss his findings in a minute.1
Where Do Electromagnetic Fields Come From Exactly?
In your home– DECT cordless phones, hairdryers, vacuums, refrigerators, microwave ovens, irons, televisions (the flat panel TVs are much better than the old box-style TVs), main ring and lighting circuits, baby monitors, dimmer switches, electric blankets, electric razors, electric toothbrushes, WiFi, etc.
In your office– computers, fluorescent or halogen lighting, fax machines, photocopiers, scanners, cell phones and WiFi.
Outside– power lines (high voltage cables either overhead or buried in the ground), transformers (the grey cylinders raised up on poles that look like trash cans), electrical substations, cell phone towers, cities that provide citywide wireless Internet (WiFi) and electromagnetic radiation from near neighbors’ electronic equipment.
WiFi– Along with DECT phones, WiFi is overwhelmingly the main contributor to household electro pollution with power densities far above any nearby mobile phone mast.
Digital Baby Alarms– Nearly all baby monitors are now digital. These alarms use the same technology as DECT cordless phones and will continuously pulsate microwave energy throughout the baby’s room and beyond.
We may not understand the potential health consequences of EMF for many years to come, just as our earliest ancestors were ignorant of the long term effects of fire.
According to the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), EMFs are “possibly carcinogenic to humans.” The IARC states that some studies show a possible link between EMFs and cancer in people.2
According to some scientists, EMFs can affect the body’s nervous system function and cause damage to cells. Cancer and unusual growths may be one symptom of very high EMF exposure.

The biggest problem with EMF, according to Doctor Martin Pall, Ph.D. is that it increases intracellular calcium.3 Calcium plays a critical role in many of our body’s processes. When there is excess calcium and the signaling is thrown off, your entire system gets disrupted. Dr. Pall is paving the way to helping us understand this process of disruption. Across 26 research papers, he has shown that EMFs work by activating voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs), which are on the outer membrane of cells and play a key role in cellular function.
When EMFs interact with your body’s VGCCs, about 1 million calcium ions per second flood into your cells. Your cells are about 7 million times more sensitive in their outer membrane where VGCCs reside.
As this excess calcium begins to flood your cells, an abundance of nitric oxide is produced. On one hand, this is essential for the delivery of oxygen throughout your body. On the other, elevated amounts of nitric oxide can create excess superoxide, a highly toxic free radical. So…yeah na, not great.
Nitric oxide and superoxide form the potent oxidant peroxynitrite, which is an oxidative stress-inducing compound. Excessive oxidative and nitrosative stress are found in nearly all chronic disease.
We know that overexposure to high frequency radiation, like staying out in the sun too long, can be harmful. It won’t be too long before everyone understands the dangers of too much EMF.

Does 5G Cause Cancer?
Many scientists understand that the electromagnetic radiation leaking through the doors of our microwave ovens are carcinogenic, and therefore, can cause cancer. Most of these scientists also believe that these waves are mutagenic, meaning alter our DNA structure.
The launch of 5G will be similar to turning on your microwave, opening its door, and leaving it on for the rest of your life. There’s good reason why hundreds of scientists are taking action against the wireless industry. EMF toxicity is way too big of a problem to ignore
Cell tower radiation health effects are real. Because there will be thousands of these towers and stations in every city, it will be almost impossible to avoid them.
That said, there are some things we can do to protect ourselves from radiation. The more we focus on our health and diet, the more our immune systems can defend against the challenges related to 5G radiation.
The cornerstones of personal safety are:
Ideally do not live near a cell tower or mini station.
Purchase an EMF shield, and continue to measure the levels of radiation within 100 feet of your home.
Radiation hazards decrease with distance from the source,
Minimising time in the vicinity of the source
Using shielding where available

Use ADSL or cable broadband instead of wireless technology where ever possible.
If you use a wireless router, change the power setting to the lowest level (refer to the manufacturer’s instructions).
Keep the router away from where you spend time,e. bedroom, study, living spaces.
Turn the router off when it is not in use as it will continue to emit pulsed microwaves 24 hours per day.
Turn the router off at night
Use a hard-wired landline phone to make calls wherever possible.
Keep your smartphone calls short.
Keep your smartphone away from your head, use the phone on speaker mode or use a hands-free earpiece.
Text instead of calling wherever possible.
Refrain from using your cell phone for long periods, including never keeping your cell phone in your bedroom.
When traveling with your cell phone, store it in an EMF protective bag.
Use the smartphone in a good signal strength area (the maximum number of bars will be displayed on the screen). The device will transmit much lower levels of EMF in an area with good signal strength than in an area with poor reception such as a moving vehicle or lift.5
Switch your smartphone to aeroplane mode when watching movies, using an App or playing games. This will turn off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular and GPS functions. This means you will be unable to make or receive calls or access online data, but it reduces your radiation exposure.
Do not use your smartphone as an alarm clock. Even in aeroplane mode, it will emit electromagnetic frequency when the alarm turns on.
Do not carry your smartphone around your waist or on your chest.
Where possible, keep your smartphone at a distance away from your body.
Do not use your smartphone in the car, bus, tram or any other metal carriage as the EMF energy may reflect off surfaces creating ‘hot spots’ in the vehicle.
Shielded phone cases should be avoided as many force the phone to increase power and inadvertently increase the EMF emitted from the device.5
DECT cordless phones should be avoided as their base units continually emit pulsed microwaves – even when not in use – at levels that can exceed a mobile phone in a good signal strength area.8 Use a wired landline phone instead.
If you must use a cordless phone, buy an analogue model as this will only emit radiofrequency signals when making and receiving calls.
Avoid placing the cordless phone base unit in an area where you spend a lot of time, such as the bedroom.
Keep your calls short.
Use speaker mode when talking on the phone.
Once you have downloaded an App, video, game or document from the Internet, switch the device to aeroplane mode. This will avoid exposure to EMF energy, however you will not be able to access the Internet in this setting.
Keep electronic devices at a distance from your body (such as on a desk) whilst in use. Laptop computers that run off mains adapter/charger units and battery chargers may emit high levels of EMF.
An earthing mat will reduce the electric field, whilst placing the laptop on a desk (not on your lap where they may expose your reproductive organs to microwave radiation) will reduce your exposure to the magnetic field.
Baby monitors are one of the highest radiation emitting devices in the average home. Most baby monitors on the market run at .850 MHz to 2.4 GHZ. Microwaves use this same bandwidth. Baby monitors however, are constantly sending signals, creating high levels of electromagnetic fields in your child’s room and throughout your home.
It’s ideal to keep your baby monitor as far away from your baby’s head as possible. The Safety 1st Crystal Clear Audio Monitor is one of the few baby monitors on the market that offers 49 MHz models. These baby monitors not only are analog, but they are far below the microwave (1 GHz to 300 GHz) frequency range. I would still not set these monitors right next to my baby’s head.
The World Health Organisation recommends that the “safe” amount of EMR is 612mV/m2 and smart meters throw out at least three times that amount. In Australia most meter boxes are situated towards the front of the house on the main bedroom wall or lounge-room. A couple years ago Victorians in Australia weren’t given a choice to “opt-out” of compulsary smart meters being placed on their meter boxes. Many customers weren’t aware that a smart meters had been fitted. Now smart meters are being installed in NSW and Adelaide.

Have your House or Work Place tested

I know many folks tend to think of EMR as innocuous, you now know better. This stuff is new and frankly more than a little scary. The rollout of 5G will deliver THE strongest and most potentially harmful EMF frequency humanity has EVER been exposed to. We need to keep learning about it and consistently taking action to protect ourselves including all measures to keep our immune system thriving.
